There’s going to be a Twin Peaks-themed pop up restaurant in London

(From Metro) If you can’t wait until the new series of Twin Peaks makes it to screens, then here’s something to whet your appetite – a restaurant inspired by the show is coming to London.

The pop-up eaterie – currently going under the name of The Owls Are Not What They Seem – will combine a Peaks-themed menu with a ‘Lynchian environment’ – allowing fans of the show to fully immerse themselves into a Peaks-style world.

What this means in more basic terms is that you’ll be treated to a three-course meal – not to mention a cup of damn fine coffee and a slice of cherry pie – as well as an evening’s entertainment based around the show’s characters, stories and sets.

For those who don’t fancy the full shebang, there’ll also be a late-night bar on offer.

Oh, and guests are also invited to dress for the occasion, Twin Peaks style – yes, that does mean you can go as the Log Lady if you want to – with prizes awarded each evening for the best costumes.

The whole thing will be taking place at a secret location in Central London from August 27 – October 17, with tickets – costing £65.

If you want to register your interest in the event you can do so here. And mind out for those backwards talking dwarves.

The Twin Peaks reboot is due on screens in 2017, with original stars Sheryl Lee and Sherilyn Fenn recently confirming the series will run from 18 episodes – doubled from the original nine which were planned.
