(From Geeks of Doom) Marvel has just released the full cast for Black Panther, the newest chapter of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Reprising his role as the title character is Chadwick Boseman, who was first introduced to us in Captain America: Civil War.
He joins previously confirmed actors Michael B. Jordan as the evil Erik Killmonger; Lupita Nyong’o and Danai Gurira as Nakia and Okoyo, respectively, both of whom are members of the Dora Milaje; Martin Freeman, who will be reprising his role as Everett Ross; Daniel Kaluuya as W’Kabi; Florence Kasumba as Ayo, whom we first saw in Civil War; Angela Bassett as Ramonda, T’Challa’s mother; and Forest Whitaker as Zuri, an adviser to T’Challa.
The studio also announced that the film will re-introduce characters that we have seen before. Andy Serkis returns as Dr. Ulyessus Klaw, and John Kani, who will reprise his role as T’Chaka in what is expected to be a flashback.
The film will be shot in both Atlanta and South Korea.
Black Panther will open in theaters on February 16, 2018.
