(From Gamespot) Colin Trevorrow’s Jurassic World stands as the fourth biggest movie of all time, and inevitably sequels are on the way. It was rumoured last year that Universal was planning a trilogy of movies, and this has been confirmed by director Juan Antonio Bayona, who is helming the second of the three films.
Bayona revealed at the Toronto International Film Festival that his film would form the middle part of a trilogy. “The whole Jurassic World is a trilogy that Colin Trevorrow has envisioned,” he said. “We’re writing the second chapter, and it’s very interesting where he’s leading the story.
Jurassic World 2 is set to hit theaters on June 22, 2018.
