First look at new ‘Deus Ex’ game

(From Geeks of Doom) Developer Eidos Montreal and publisher Square Enix’s 2011 reboot of the Deus Ex video game franchise, a prequel to the original games titled Deus Ex: Human Revolution is one of our favorite games.

Fans of the game have been waiting quite a while for the follow-up, while attempts have been made to turn the last game into a movie, and now the time has come.

After about four years, the next game in the franchise, titled Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, is in sight. It’s also been unveiled as Game Informer’s May cover reveal, and to celebrate the big reveal, a video has been released offering a first peek at the game.

Human Revolution was set in 2027, 25 years before the events of the original Deus Ex games, and followed Sarif Industries head of security Adam Jensen as he attempted to figure out who was behind an attack on the company that left him near death and requiring robotic augmentations to survive. This new game will also be set around that time and stick with Jensen as the primary protagonist.

The game will be released on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
