(From Mobile N Apps) The “Harry Potter” franchise may have already ended, but JK Rowling has come up with a five-film story arc that belongs to the same universe. “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” will seemingly tell the story about Grindelwald’s rise to power.
“Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them 2″ will be shifting its focus on the relationship between Albus Dumbledore and the dark wizard Grindewald, according to Screen Rant. Despite this shift, Newt Scamander, played by Eddie Redmayne, is still expected to play a very significant role.
The upcoming sequel will provide further explanation on Newt’s expulsion from Hogwarts – and why Dumbledore argued with everyone else to keep the boy in the school.
In the first film, a picture of Leta Lestrange – portrayed by Zoe Kravitz – was shown among Newt’s possessions. Not too many details have been provided regarding her character. However, it has been reported that her special place in Newt’s life and her association with the nefarious Bellatrix Lestrange could only mean she has one of the prominent roles in “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.”
“The relationship between Leta and Newt Scamander is a complex relationship,” Kravitz told Collider. “So, I think there will be a lot of time for that to grow and develop, which will be fun.”
When Kravitz and Redmayne were given “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” script copies to practice off with, they had to keep guessing on what was going on in the scene. “He was trying to help me piece together what was happening in the scene that we were reading,” she added.
Redmayne, just like Kravitz, “does not get to see anything either.” “We had to guess,” Kravitz continued. “He was like, ‘I think based off of this line and this line, and what we shot here and here, this is what is going on.’ It was funny to watch him, trying to piece it all together.”
