Bourne 5 has a release date

Aaron Cross

(From Geek Tyrant) A few weeks ago it was announced that Universal Pictures hired Fast and Furious director Justin Lin to take on the fifth installment of the Bourne franchise.

The studio has now announced the film will be released on August 14th, 2015.

The movie will continue the adventures of Aaron Cross, who was played by Jeremy Renner. Renner is expected to reprise his role.

The studio has also set the Luc Besson-directed film Lucy for release on August 8th, 2014.

Scarlett Johansson stars in the action-thriller, which follows “a woman accidentally caught in a dark deal who turns the tables on her captors and transforms into a merciless warrior evolved beyond human logic.”
