Assassin’s Creed 5 set during French Revolution

(From Metro) The next Assassin’s Creed will take place in Paris in the 18th century, but it’s only one of two new games planned for this year.

Talk of two different games, one for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 and the other for the outgoing gen, has been around for a while now. But this is the first time we’ve seen any sort of proof that it’s actually happening.

The Xbox One and PlayStation 4 version is apparently called Unity, and stars a new lead (possibly named Arno) and a new parkour system (you can see references to that in the screenshots themselves).

The game is at least partly set in Paris during the 18th century, which must surely means it takes in the French Revolution – which took place from 1789–1799.
